Andrew

Hello, my name is Andrew Wilson! I am a senior American Sign Language/English Interpreting major at 萝莉社 with a double minor in Theatre Sound and Disability Studies. I currently work an on-campus job at 萝莉社 State鈥檚 TechHelp Service and Repair Center. I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. While growing up, I had exposure to ASL through various family friends. It was not until high school where I began my study of the language. Taking dual-enrollment classes at my local community college and frequently attending signing events in my area, ASL quickly began to cement its place within my life. When it came time to look for colleges, the KSU interpreting program checked each of my boxes. Alongside the exceptional ASEI faculty, 萝莉社 State has far exceeded my expectations and continues to provide me with endless opportunities for both personal and academic growth.

Hanna Luna

Hello, my name is Hanna Luna, and I am a junior in the Interpreting program. I decided to pursue this major because I have always loved the culture, history, and language, and I wanted to study them further while becoming more involved. I grew up in Washington State, and in 2021 my family and I moved to Medina, OH. I have commuted all three years while attending 萝莉社 and have been involved with different Bible study groups. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and spending time outdoors. Feel free to reach out to me with any comments or questions by email at hluna@kent.edu. Thank you!
