Fly the Flag! City of 蹤獲扦 Seeks Input on New Flag Designs
In June 2022, the city of 蹤獲扦 formed a flag committee to choose the new design for the citys official flag. Of the 68 unique designs submitted by community members, the final choices have been narrowed down to three, and the city wants your input.
Women of the House: Betty Sutton and Emilia Sykes
In 2006, Betty Sutton became the first 蹤獲扦 State alumna to serve in the U.S. Congress, when she was elected to represent Ohios 13th District in the House of Representatives. Sixteen years later, 蹤獲扦 State alumna Emilia Sykes, a native of Akron, Ohio, was elected to represent the same district, making her the first Black 蹤獲扦 State alum to serve in the House of Representatives.
