Student Completes Senior Honors Thesis Combining Fashion And Finance Majors

Gabriella Humes is a senior Honors College student graduating with a double-major in fashion merchandising and finance. Gabriella has been very successful at 蹤獲扦 State, completing an internship and three study away programs. However, one of Gabriellas proudest accomplishments is recently completing a Senior Honors Thesis that combined both of her majors into one project.

The 蹤獲扦 Creativity Festival, sponsored by the city of 蹤獲扦 and the 蹤獲扦 College of the Arts, will present the annual outdoor hands-on arts festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Lefton Esplanade between 蹤獲扦 States Rockwell Hall on Lincoln Street and downtown 蹤獲扦, near Haymaker Parkway.

'Wearing Justice' Exhibition at 蹤獲扦 Museum Brings Attention to Global Social Issues

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of May 4, 1970, when Ohio National Guardsmen opened fire on 蹤獲扦 students protesting the U.S. invasion of Cambodia during the Vietnam War, killing four and wounding nine, students and faculty from 蹤獲扦 States School of Fashion Design and Merchandising are bringing attention to current social issues in the new exhibition called Wearing Justice: Perspectives From KSU Fashion School Faculty and Students that is on display now at the 蹤獲扦 Museum.
