蹤獲扦 States Brain Health Research Institute Celebrates Collaboratories Grand Opening

蹤獲扦s Brain Health Research Institute celebrated the grand opening of its new lab spaces on Friday, Nov. 5, with an afternoon of activities that included a keynote presentation, space dedication, tours and student research demonstrations. The new space, featuring interdisciplinary research facilities, is located on the lower level of the Integrated Sciences Building on the 蹤獲扦 Campus.

蹤獲扦 Reaches Record Graduation Rate, Boasting Highest Graduation Rate in Northern Ohio

蹤獲扦 States current graduation rate is the highest among public universities in Northeast Ohio and fifth highest among all of Ohios public universities, behind Ohio State, Miami, the University of Cincinnati and Ohio University. In northern Ohio, the graduation rates of other public universities range from 40 to 55 percent.

蹤獲扦 State Receives $1.2 Million Federal Grant to Assist Adults in College Enrollment

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded 蹤獲扦 a nearly $1.2 million, five-year TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers program grant. The program is designed to provide support services to qualified adults, including veterans, who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education.

蹤獲扦 States Top Notch Research Showcased - 16 headshot images of 蹤獲扦 State Faculty collaged

29 蹤獲扦 State Faculty Members Named in Top 2% of Scientists in Fields Worldwide

The report, published in the PLOS Biology journal, evaluated more than six million scientists across 22 different fields and 176 sub-fields from 1996 until 2019. The top 2% list is made up of more than 100,000 most-cited scientists who have authored at least five scientific papers.

蹤獲扦 States Giving Tuesday Launches Monthlong Initiative Featuring Numerous Incentives for Supporters

蹤獲扦, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 蹤獲扦 State, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., 蹤獲扦s senior vice president for student affairs, has been named the recipient of the NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) Region IV-East Scott Goodnight Award for Outstanding Senior Student Affairs Officer for 2021, named to Crains Cleveland Business Forty Under 40, selected as a recipient of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Diamond Honoree award and is a member of the 2022 class of the NASPA Pillars of the Profession award.

Vision of a Village Community Meeting on Oct. 27 Will Discuss New Sustainable Community to Be Built in 蹤獲扦

Representatives from 蹤獲扦 and the city of 蹤獲扦 will hold a community meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 27, called A Vision of a Village to share information and answer questions about a new residential complex designed to integrate the city of 蹤獲扦 and 蹤獲扦 State, physically and programmatically.
