IN A FLASH: Digging In To Honor Veterans

Daffodil Hill planting Veterans Day 2025

It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and those in 蹤獲扦 State's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting 蹤獲扦 State's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill

Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks the Commons on 蹤獲扦's 蹤獲扦 Campus. The field of 58,175 daffodils was planted in 1985 as a memorial, with one flower for each service member who died in the Vietnam War. Each year, the 蹤獲扦 State Grounds Crew works in the fall to plant bulbs, so that the area may bloom beautifully in the spring.
