Based on the hit movie, Andrew Lloyd Webbers School of RockThe Musical is the story of a slacker who plays in a local band who stumbles into a substitute teaching job at an upscale prep school.
In the classroom he is inspired to turn a group of quiet, straight-A students into a full-on, rollicking rock band in time for a "Battle of the Bands" competition. But can he do it before the school's stuffy headmistress finds out?
