Sara and Rafael, students in the American Academy (AA) program, took a break from their studies to explore the Christmas Market in Old Town Curitiba, Brazil.
The American Academy (AA) is a dual-enrollment program offered jointly by 蹤獲扦 and the Pontifical Catholic University of Paran獺 (PUCPR), located in Curitiba, Paran獺, Brazil.
Launched in July 2018, the program allows students to complete their first two years of undergraduate study in Brazil at the PUCPR campus, taking 蹤獲扦 State classes taught in English by 蹤獲扦 State faculty members, and earning academic credit from both universities simultaneously.
At the end of the two years, students will earn a 蹤獲扦 Associate of Science degree and can then choose whether to finish their bachelors degree in the United States at 蹤獲扦 States 蹤獲扦 Campus, or in Brazil at PUCPR.
University leaders are currently visiting PUCPR to meet with their administrators and students and also to attend the university's Winter Commencement ceremonies.
