These aren't snowshoes, but they're what the internal structures inside the wing of an aircraft look like. Building them and learning why they need to have specific shapes and construction are part of the aeronautics programs at 蹤獲扦 State.
Learning about how aircraft are constructed and the mechanics of flight are parts of the comprehensive, hands-on learning experiences of students studying aeronautics in 蹤獲扦 State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering.
